Some things are better left unsaid.

There are things your coach would love for you to know… but they’ll never tell you. Why? Well… like I said – some things are better left unsaid…

There’s so many things…

There are so many thoughts that go through my head I wish I could share. Internal monologues I’d love to say out loud, feelings I’d love to share with the people in the gym – both those I do and don’t work with. There’s so many things about this job that people just don’t know, and don’t realize. Every day… when certain situations come up… I wish I could just tell people how I feel. How it really is. Break the myths they hold as truth and shed a little light on how it really is.

But I can’t.

Or, at least, I really shouldn’t. Like I said in the beginning – some things are better left unsaid. I think these things, and sometimes I wonder… what would happen if they knew? What would they say? Would it change how they behave with me? How they behave in the gym? Would they withhold information, or perhaps be too forthcoming? The fact is – I simply can’t know how sharing these things would or wouldn’t rock the boat. So, instead, I keep it to myself. Until now, on this podcast episode. Who knows, maybe some of my coaching clients will hear it. Maybe some of the people at the gym who aren’t working with me will hear. Then what? Well, I guess we’ll find out. One thing is for sure – 75 episodes in felt like the right time to share this kind of thing.
