I love what I do, and I take it seriously.
Fitness isn’t just narcissism, gym selfies, and aesthetics. For some people, it’s about very real, very important changes. Physical and emotional health and well-being could be at stake. This is important… crucial… and in some very extreme cases… even life or death. So naturally, while I do enjoy my job… I also take it very seriously. Which is why I have absolutely no tolerance for those who would play the system and play the people for a quick buck…

It was another week of principles reinforced…
It really has been quite a week for me, Fit Friends. Lots of emotional ups and downs. I witnessed one of my members and training clients getting to celebrate some real, genuine, hard-earned success. And once the happy happy high from that wore off for me… I had a moment of reflection, contemplation, and ultimately anger. I couldn’t NOT say anything anymore.
You hear me? I’m done being PC and nice.
For as many positive things as there are to talk about, and as much as I’m willing to call out my own shortcomings and missteps… someone’s gotta call out the other shortcomings, missteps, and faux pas happening in the fitness world… especially the big ones that interfere with peoples’ success, happiness, and positive forward progress in life.
So THAT’S what this podcast episode is about.
I’m celebrating some serious success… and calling out some big honkin’ failures. In about the most objective, non-ranty way I can.
