“Who’s this jerk think he is?”

This “jerk” is a regular guy…an “Average Joe”…just like you.

And that’s the point.

What’s the difference between me and you? Maybe its that I lost 130 lbs. Maybe it’s that I’ve finished at least 5 marathons. Or a 50 mile ultramarathon. Or a 100 mile ultramarathon. Maybe it’s that I started & stuck to a fitness routine. Maybe its nothing.

I’m. nobody. special. 

I’m just a guy that hit a breaking point and finally did something about his situation. Changed what I had, until that point, viewed as my permanent reality. I took control and made a change. A big change. One that has reshaped my whole life and world view.

It wasn’t easy.

There were countless times I wanted to quit. Give up. It would’ve been so much easier to just…not. It still IS easier.

It’s a constant struggle.

And I know I’m not the only one who fights that battle. So here I am – sharing my story – both the struggles AND successes…to show you…

If can do it…anyone can.

130 pounds lost? 100 mile ultramarathon finish? I’m just getting warmed up.
